This deck is extremely strong right now and we have TNT who has pretty much mastered this deck! For only 3.4 elixir you can cycle back to the cards you need fairly quickly. Also with this deck you have the Valkyrie, executioner and tornado which is probably the strongest defensive trio in the game right now! You can use these units to defend then counter push with your hog rider. There are a lot of bait decks in use right now and you have a lot of options to help deal with your opponents deck, you have the log and Valkyrie which will be your main counter and op you also have tornado to use to activate your king tower. Use the hog to apply pressure if your opponent plays a heavy unit in the back. Never over defend when using this deck, it’s an easy mistake that a lot of people do but you should aim to make positive elixir trades on defence then you can cash in that elixir value on offence.
Tornado synergies with the executioner very well, it can be used to pull the opponents units into the splash radius of the axe which can stop to opponents push instantly. It can also be used to activate your king tower which will be important against certain archetypes like hog, bait and graveyard. You can also pull units into the opposite lane to help protect your offensive pushes.
Rocket is your heavy spell and it can be easily used to spell cycle in double elixir or over time while your using your other cards defensively. Learn what damage your rocket does when paired with the log in case your in a match where you need to spell cycle. This card will be your main counter to sparky and also other executioner if you can get good spell value from it.
Hog rider is your main win condition and you should use it to pressure you opponent when they’re low on elixir or when they don’t have a good counter in cycle. You can also use him to kite units away from your towers. Pair him with the ice spirit if you have an elixir advantage or you can also make prediction log plays if you know what units your opponent has in cycle.
Early game you can start with a hog rider at the bridge or you can cycle goblins or ice spirit. Never cycle your executioner until you know what deck your opponent is playing. Goblins are a great unit to use to catch miners or even goblin barrels if you opponent is using either of these cards. Remember to try to activate your king tower as early as possible.
In double elixir you can start to pressure with the hog a lot more, you should know what deck your opponent is playing so try to keep your key defensive units in cycle.
