You have triple spells in this deck makes the snowball is a good counter to goblin barrels, skeletons and bats. Try to always get value from your lightening by taking out at least 5 elixir worth of troops and also hitting their tower. The lightening is your main counter to inferno tower or inferno dragon amen also units like hunter.
Night witch is only really viable in golem decks, her spawning bats help support the golem push so playing Herndon’s before the golem will allow her to spawn more bats and now potentially force an early spell from your opponent.
Lumber jack is a great addition to any golem deck, his rage spell can support your pushes massively and easily overwhelm your opponents during double elixir. He’s great once defence too against cards like hog, bait, bridge spam and he’s helpful at taking down royal giants.
Golem is your meat shield in this deck. During single elixir you wont be playing this unit much unless your opponent makes a mistake or your mirroring a move from your opponent. I wouldn’t recommend playing him behind your king tower especially early game, play your support troops first then place him at the bridge. He can also be used to kite units into the opposite lane and kite units like pekka or prince away from your towers. Remember this up has death damage which can bring units like minions into snowball range.
Earthquake is a solid counter to units like furnace, elixir pump or goblin unit. It is a situational card that can take out buildings that would kite your golem. Try to get maximum value by hitting their tower, defensive units and their building at the same time. It’s also a solid counter in spell bait decks if you opponent plays all their troops together.
For opening plays you can start out the match with mega minion in the back if you have it in cycle however I recommend waiting for the opponent to make the first play and you then responding to what they play. During the first 90 seconds of the match focus on defending and counter pushing if you get a good opportunity. Assess what the opponent is playing and remember what units they use to counter your troops. As you approach double elixir you can start to build a bigger push.
During double elixir start to use your spells to support your pushes, you can take some opposite lane damage if your confident you can tower trade or even three crown the opponent. Winning the battle at the bridge is important so always try to leave your night witch and baby dragon played then you can place your mega minion and lumberjack after you’ve won the battle at the bridge.
