Today in brining you this deck that Tauron is currently using to hold down his position inside the top 10 in the world. Play this deck defensively and focus on making positive elixir trades, counter push when you know your opponent doesn’t have many air counters in hand, you can also push with the balloon if you opponent is playing a heavy unit like golem or lava hound, make sure you have defensive units down like the giant skeleton, baby dragon and you have Tesla in cycle. Apply pressure against a beat down archetype will force to opponent to use their support troops in the opposite lane. Against hog rider decks you hav ethe Tornado to activate your king tower then the Tesla to kite the hog throughout the rest of the match. Against bridge spam try to activate your king tower if they have bandit or Royal ghost, use your key defensive units to block a lane and counter push when you can. Graveyard decks could be tricky with this deck, you should try to stop their tank from crossing the river then you can use Tesla, baby dragon or goblin gang to help defend. Activating your king tower can also stop any graveyard player completely to try to do this even if you have to sacrifice some tower damage.
Miner is a great addition to this deck, been able to play him anywhere in the arena means you can use him to snipe units like princess, musketeer, wizard, magic archer etc. He can also be used to tank damage for your balloon, you can synergies him with the zap spell to reset to towers damage onto the miner if required. When you first play him make sure you place him in the anti Tornado position to avoid the opponent activating their king tower. If you use him later game to get chip damage you will need to switch up his placement to make it harder to predict where he’ll appear.
Giant skeleton is a good defensive u it because he can completely block a lane and stop the opponents push because his death damage and take out their support troops. If the opponent doesn’t take him out then he will require a response from your opponent if their don’t want to lose 1000HP off their tower.
Tornado should be used to activate your king tower during the early stages of the game whenever possible, especially against hogs, miners, bait and bridge spam decks. This will be,l glucoses defend throughout the rest of the match. It also synergies very well defensively with the baby dragon and also the giant skeletons bomb just like tauron did at 2:59 in the video.
Goblin gang split or a miner in the safe spot is a good opening play. Identify all your opponents air counters before you go aggressive with the balloon. I would usually wait 10-15 seconds to see if the opponent makes the first play before I play my first card. Remember to try and activate your king tower as early as possible to help aid your defence.
Later game you should still focus on defence and wait for your opponent to make a mistake or over commit, of you have a good elixir lead you can use your balloon at the river to apply pressure as long as they don’t have a good counter in cycle.
