Today we have Sohrob3139 on the channel sharing this classic 2.9 cycle hog deck. I love this deck because it is fast paced and allows you to control the tempo of the match, it can keep up 2.9 x-bow cycle. The bomb tower and musketeer are you main defensive unit inside this deck, you can support them with your knight and skeletons if required. The three spells inside this deck can all be used to help your your hog rider and try to maximise his tower damage, only use a spell if your can make a positive elixir trade in single elixir; in double elixir you can even make prediction spell placements if you know what units your opponent has in cycle. The snowball and log both have knockback abilities which you will rely on for defence, they can be used to help prevent units connecting to your towers or helping to defend your musketeer. The earthquake, log and snowball can all be used to spell cycle your opponent in triple elixir or against siege decks like x-bow. If you are against x-bow never allow yourself to be low on elixir and be patient throughout the match.

Hog Rider

Hog rider is your main win condition and should be used fairly aggressively throughout the match. Because he solely targets building you can also use him to kite or distract the opponent units like Sohrob does against e-wiz.

Musketeer

Musketeer has one of the highest win rates inside grand challenges right now which shows how strong she is. For only four elixir she offers a lot of defensive value because she can defend both ground and air. Protect her and keep her alive as long as possible and use her on your counter push.

Knight

Knights role inside this deck is a mini tank, on defence you can use him to help take down tanks like golem, giant, mega knight etc. If he has enough HP you can counter push with him to as he will be a good tank for the hog rider. If you don't rely on him for defence you can cycle this card in the back to help build up a small push.

Hog rider is a great first play, this allows you to see how the opponent defends and if you're lucky they won't always have their main defensive unit in cycle. Don't over commit in single elixir, you shouldn't use your knight in front of the hog or pair hog with earthquake unless you have a good elixir lead.

In double elixir you should know what deck the opponent is playing, you can start to support the hog rider more and cycle back to you main defensive units quicker. Good luck with this deck everyone. The spells are what makes this deck so strong in my opinion and they're all fairly easy to level up.
