Graveyard decks are great fun to play on ladder and especially with the giant skeleton in this deck. The deck works extremely well on defence which is exactly what you want to do with this deck, defend and then counter push. You should aim to bait out their graveyard counter whether it’s Valkyrie or posion before you play the graveyard. You always want to aquaire chip damage throughout the entire match with your spells. The giant Skelton can be used to block an entire lane and then kill any surviving troops the opponent has from his bomb death damage. If you’ve defended a push and you have troops heading down a lane you could apply pressure in the opposite lane with ice golem graveyard if you have them in cycle and you’ve been struggling to break through their defence. Against bridge spam the giant skeleton is great at protecting a princess tower, Wait for you opponent to over commit on offence and then apply pressure in the opposite lane with your graveyar and a tank. Ewiz and guard are great posion bait cards which will free you up to go aggressive with you Graveyard once their posion is out of cycle.
The Graveyard is your main win condition in this deck, a I said before make sure you bait out their counter before you commit to playing this card.
If you can get this guy to the opponents tower your going to get around 1000 HP off their tower. Even if you don’t get him to heir tower his death damage will often kill any chances your opponent has of a counter push.
I love ice golem he can give you so much value if you play him well, he can stop minion hordes with the help of your towers, he can be used to kite princes or pekkas and many other troops into the opposite lane. Or you can simply use him to act as a tank for your graveyard.
Early game you want to try and figure out what your opponent is playing and what counters they have to your deck and which cards you should hold onto to help stop their push. If they opponent opens the game with an elixir collector you should apply pressure with your graveyard and a tank, such as ice golem, guards or mega minion, in the same lane as their pump. If they open with a heavy tank then you should do the same put in the opposite lane. In these circumstances be careful not to over commit because you’ll need some elixir to defend their push. Have the posion ready to drop if they play a card which you can drop posion on and kill their units.
Later game if you’ve already taken a tower then make sure you keep some light pressure in the opposite lane to force the opponent to spend elixir on defence rather than committing it all to one big offensive push. If you haven’t taken a tower you need to decide whether you’re playing for the draw or you want to take the win. The best way to win in double elixir is the keep defending and stack up troops, this will often force your opponent to use their spell such as poison or a splash damage unit. This will take out your counter push but it will also allow you to go aggressive with the graveyard while their counters are out of hand and hopefully take the victory.
