New Hog Cycle Deck

This a great free to play friendly deck that is also extremely strong on ladder and in challenges. You have an element of bait with this deck to help support your hog pushes. The canon and barbarians will be you main defensive cards against most decks. You’re main aim is to acquire chip damge from the hog rider and spells throughout the match. Remember you have have three minutes of over time if you’re over 4K trophies so play calm and collected and punish your opponent when you can. This deck does cycle very well especially later in the game so you can easily out cycle your opponent or cycle back to a counter card that you might need for defence. Against beat down decks you need to keep the pressure on in the opposite lane, you also have the barbarians to take down the tank or the canon to kite their units. If you find yourself playing against another hog player then again you have he canon and barbarians to help deal with he hog but make sure you switch up your placements so make it hard for your opponent to predict what you will play. Against seige decks you have the canon and plenty of swarm units to distract the xbow or mortar, you can also use you hog to damge take it down if required. If your opponent have a lava hound deck then you’ll need to pressure the opposite lane higher you will need to use canon to kite any potential balloons and use bats and spear goblins on defence. If the opponent has a bridge spam archetype then defend and then counte push.

Hog Rider

The hog is your main win condition in this deck he is a great card to use to punish your opponent if hey commit a lot of elixir to one lane or on a elixir collector.


Fireball is your heavy spell it can deny an opponents pump of four elixir or is great to use against three musketeers if you can. You will also need to use this card if the opponent is running minion horde. You should also try to play your spells to get tower chip damage while also taking out their troops or play it at the last possible second to try and get as much value as possible.


These four warriors are great to use on defence and often catches your opponent off guard because they’re not expecting to see them! They can also be split in the back and can help support a hog push after a successful defence.

Early Stage Gameplan

Early game like in my video you can go ahead and open the match with an aggressive hog rider. I wouldn’t support the hog though because if they have a counter in hand you’ll need the elixir for defence. Early game is the time you should try to find out as early as possible what deck your opponent is playing and what counters they have to your hog. If they commit to a heavy push early game then punish them and try to take a tower in the opposite lane, then use your key defensive cards and try to keep your tower alive.

Late Stage Gameplan

Later game you need to keep cycling those hogs against heir tower, try to do this when you know they’re low on elixir or their counters are out of hand, this is the same even if you have taken a tower already. Now it’s double elixir you can make prediction spell plays to support your hog if they keep playing cards which you can get spell value from.
