In this video Flobby returns to help guide us through a couple of different golem decks. The deck I’m showing you on here doesn’t have an elixir pump so you need to play a lot more defensively and build up a counter push then play your golem at the bridge to tank for your troops. The golem is your meat shield and that’s what you need to use him for, you should always have troops behind your golem to make it harder for your opponent to defend. In the first two minuets of the game with deck you should just react to what your opponent plays unless they make a mistake which allows you to go aggressive with your golem.
Night witch is a great support card for your golem. Try to play her in the back so she has more time to spawn bats before she reaches the bridge.
In this deck I wouldn’t play this card until double elixir unless your opponent also plays a heavy tank or they make a mistake which give you a large elixir lead.
The posion is your main spell and is a great answer to an elixir collector or three musketeers. You should always try to get good value by chipping away at their tower HP and also damaging their units.
Baby dragon is a great defensive card especially against swarm units. It can be used to help support your golem pushes in double elixir.
Early game as I said above you need to play passively because you don’t have an elixir pump. Try to defend efficiently and gain a good elixir lead and if the opponent makes a mistake or plays another heavy tank then you can go ahead and place the golem as long as you have enough elixir to defend their push. Try to find out what your opponent is playing and what their win condition is this will help you know what cards to need to keep in cycle so can defend better.
Later game you should play a golem around the 1:10 mark if you have an elixir advantage. This will mean as the golem gets close to the bridge double elixir will just be about to start so you can stack up support troops behind your golem. If you know your opponent is low on elixir you can keep playing support troops to try and overwhelm your opponent and go for the three crown victory. Unlike most golem decks you can’t really ignore an opponents push you need to defend in some way.
