Hey Folks ! I'm afraid to admit that I'm finally buying into the Royal Giant hype. In this current meta the RG still is viable and this deck has many cards that can support the RG and allow you to control the match and defend against many archetypes.
The Baby Dragon is such an incredible card and plays an excellent support to the royal giants against minion hordes and other flying units and barbarians. The baby dragon is also a decent tank for a barbarian barrel or guards push towards a tower and can easily solo lane for a ton of chip damage.
The barb barrel has become an even more popular option than the log and provides incredible value and can help protect the royal giant against wizards, executioner and even defend against a goblin barrel tower play.
The furnace will also provide support to your royal giant and can cause chip damage against a tower. In tight jams, the furnace will also save you from a balloon surprise push.
This deck allows you to only use the lightn ing spell in emergency situations or for a late game tower damage play. Other than that you can totally cycle thru your cards with ease and support your royal giant push. I advise to play your royal giant behind the king tower to allow you time to build elixir to support it at the bridge. You have many cards that allow you to defend, control and not over extend.
In 2x time, support your RG and be more aggressive with chip damage. If your elixir count is high enough , a side pocket RG play can also be helpful for late game chip damage. The barbarian barrel will also allow you to quickly defend units or quickly kite them until you can cycle to another defending card.
