Hey Folks ! In this guide we discuss a 2.8 Hog Cycle deck that includes two recently buffed cards which are the knight and musketeer. This deck plays very similar to the 2.6 Hog Cycle but allows you to defend better against tanks and charging units.
The Hog is your win condition and should either be played behind the knight or in fro t of the musketeer when pushing. This allows you to either charge the tower with the knight as a meatshield or tank for the musketeer so she can do great damage against the tower.
The musketeer will be your main air defense and will play a key role in attacking behind the hog or knight and additionally proving support against units.
The knight will be your tank in this deck and will be your defense against charging units like the bandit and e barbs and will help break down tanks.
Defending and creating elixir tradeoffs is very key when using this deck. You don't have the pressure of letting your elixir count build up because you can constantly cycle units to punish misplays by your opponent or create scenarios where you can defend and still push on a different lane.
In 2x elixir time you will be able to cycle units at an incredible pace allowing you to be able to defend and quickly start a counter push with the knight hog or knight musketeer or hog musketeer. The cannon, fireball will help you tremendously in defending as well.
