The Best Ram Rider Deck RN!
clash with ash posted 5 years ago (updated 5 years ago)

In my opinion ram rider is one of the best low key win conditions in the whole game. ThunderStruck who uses this deck regularly and he also recently came top in a live event in Germany. Ram rider costs one more elixir than the hog rider so she should be played slightly more cautiously than the hog. Her snare effect makes her great for defence and because of this it gives her a good counter push potential. This makes her good at helping defend against hogs, battle ram, balloon and giant. Snowball synergies very well with the battle ram because it can be used to knock units away from the ram rider then her snare effect will prevent or slow them from getting back to the ram rider. Air decks can be a weakness with this deck so you might be required to use a defensive posion especially against minion hordes, lava pups etc.

Lumberjack

Lumber jack fits well into this deck because he can be used to help defend and then go on a counter push. His speed means he can over take the ram rider and potentially connect to the opponents tower while their defence is caught in the snare.

Inferno Dragon

Inferno dragon is your main tank killer. It can be used along side ram rider who will snare the unit prevent it moving out of range or getting to close to your tower. It’s a good pressure card on the counter push because if it’s still full hp then if definitely requires an answer.

Ice Golem

Ice golem can be used to kite units across lanes or distract units like pekka or prince while your inferno dragon or lumber jack takes them out. He said a good glass tank and it’s worth while playing your ram rider behind his guy especially against decks with hunter, pekka, prince etc. He’s also one of your three cycle cards but make sure you play him wisely and always get value for your two elixir.

Early Stage Gameplan
X1

ThunderStruck says the best way to start any match is to wait a few seconds to see if the opponent makes a play which you can then react to. During single elixir your counter pushes will depend on what counters they have and if you have an elixir advantage. Don’t over commit it’s import to figure out what deck and cards your opponent is using as early as possible.

Late Stage Gameplan
X2

In double elixir you should support you ram rider and try to play her into a rage spell from the lumber jack. Make sure you save enough elixir to defend. You can spell cycle towards the end of the match if their towers are under 1000HP. This is a bridge spam deck so play patiently if you’re struggling to break through their defence, wait for them to make a mistake before going aggressive.
