Top Pekka Graveyard Deck!
Kick Ash posted 4 years ago (updated 4 years ago )

This deck is AZ’s signature deck, it’s an extremely off-meta deck that has helped him reach over 7700 trophies last season! Take your time with this deck defensively and figure out what your opponent is playing. Try to always have a furnace on the map to keep applying that constant pressure and hopefully bait out a spell like poison. Your snowball can be used to reset units like inferno dragon which can be a hard counter to the pekka. Snowball is incredibly strong and it’s slow effect can help you deal with bridge spam deck and also bait decks too. Never cycle your pekka behind your tower unless the opponent have lava hound or they’ve just placed a golem behind their king tower.

Graveyard

AZ will play this card fairly aggressively, he will even play a naked graveyard on their tower if he knows they don’t have poison in cycle. Once you’ve worked out what deck the opponent is playing you can play the graveyard on their tower and have your spells selected and ready to deploy if the opponent plays smaller units that’s will die to your snow ball or poison. Try to have furnace down to, this will help defend any counter push while potential getting a couple of fire spirits damaging their tower.

P.E.K.K.A

Pekka should be played defensively and used on a counter push. She can act as a tank too if you’re against xbow or mortar while you’re archers or mega minion target their win condition. If you’re against a lava hound deck that doesn’t have much ground defence you can use this card offensively during double elixir. You can use your spells to support her and help keep her alive against units like bats or skeletons.

Archers

Archers are only a common card but they can offer a lot of value, you can split them in the centre to kite units into the middle of the arena too. If you’re opponent has a heavy air deck try to always keep either archers on mega minion in cycle to help defend at all times.

Early Stage Gameplan
X1

Early game you can start out the match with a furnace, barbarian barrel at the bridge or cycling snowball. Against heavier decks you should try to take a tower during single elixir without tower trading. Play your furnace in the centre to kite units if they pressure opposite lane while you’re attacking the other lane. If the opponent wastes their poison or a good counter to graveyard then go aggressive and place it on their tower (check out the video to see the most optimal graveyard placements) and have you’re spells ready to support if required.

Late Stage Gameplan
X2

In double elixir keep playing the furnaces, if you haven’t taken a tower try to build up a strong counter push using your spells to support your push. You can pressure opposite lane with the graveyard if they over commit in one lane. Good luck with this deck check out the replays in today’s video to see how AZ beats some of the best players in he world using this deck.
