#1 Card In The Game!

Lava Hound currently holds the highest spot in the game in terms of win percentage so in my latest video I’m sharing a couple of great decks for you guys to check out! This LavaLoon miner deck is my personal favourite because it has spell bait in which allows you to punish your opponent once you bait out their spells. The miner in this deck shouldn’t be used to get chip damage at all he should be used to tank tower damage for the pups or the minions. You can also use him defensively too due to you only having two ground units inside this deck! The minions and minion horde synergies surprisingly well together, try to use your minion horde as your main defensive unit against those more difficult pushes unless your opponent has splash units in cycle like executioner, wizard or baby’s dragon. You can use your regular minions to bait out their splash units then you can take them out with your spells or a defensive miner! Sometimes it’s better to let their units lock onto your tower before you play your defensive troops, this is important against splash units like executioner, wizard etc and it provides you with counter push potential. Try to avoid stacking your troops to close together where they can get good spell value.

Lava Hound

Lava Hound is your main win condition though she doesn’t do much damage herself so you’ll rely on her pups and also units you play to support her or pressure the opponent with to get the bulk of the tower damage. If the opponent plays a tank behind their towers you can play this unit same lane too!

Balloon

Balloon is a great pressure card and it’s death damage is great to help chip away at their towers and also damage their defensive troops too! It’s also good to use to bait out their defensive buildings like inferno tower or Tesla.

Early Stage Gameplan
X1

In single elixir if you play the hound don’t worry about defending small or medium size pushes, in the replays you can see they’re happy to ignore units like bandit, miner etc played on their tower. Try to tower trade or at least get more damage than your opponent does.

Late Stage Gameplan
X2

In double elixir try to defend the opposite lane if they pressure you, you don’t want to lose your tower especially towards the end of double elixir but you still should be aiming to defend with as little elixir as possible for you can support your lava hound more. Check out the video to see some ladder game play from two of the best lava hound players in the world!
