Powerful Golem Deck!

This is the deck that won JuicyJ 50K in WCG!! This double dragon deck is incredibly powerful and the Tornado synergies very well with baby dragon, electro dragon and also the golems death damage! Unfortunately rocket can offer a lot of value for your opponents if they have it inside their deck, so if they do ensure you space out your units to avoid giving them good spell value, you can also use the canon cart due to it shield like mechanic which means it won’t be fully countered by rocket! According to JuciyJ, one mistake people make when using this deck is that people wait to see what troops their opponents use to defend rather than keeping applying pressure, you need to take advantage of the golems health and apply pressure as soon as possible while the opponent has less elixir and the golem has more health! Cannon Cart

Canon cart has great range which allows you to attack opposite lane then counter push the other lane! Once that cart dies the canon can help a lot at either kiting tank units or helping stop their surviving units and eliminating their counter push. Canon cart will also be your main counter to seige style decks!

Electro Dragon

Electro dragon works well because he is capable of stopping bridge spam units like prince, bandit, dark prince he battle ram which your opponent is likely to use to pressure you with once you’ve placed your golem! His chain lightening works very well against the opponents defensive troops and also building, especially if they have inferno tower. With the rise of sparky over the last few month this unit gives you a perfect counter and also provides you with some good counter push potential.

Barbarian Barrel

Barb barrel will be your main counter to bait decks. You can use the spawning barbarian to tank for your canon cart as it crosses the bridge too. You can swap this card for the log depending on how the balance changes really effect this card.

Early Stage Gameplan

Your main goal in single elixir is to take as little damage as possible then gage whether it’s time to golem in the back as you approach double elixir. Try to activate your king tower, mainly against hog, bridge spam, graveyard and also Loon decks.

Late Stage Gameplan

Double elixir is the time this deck come alive! Use the golems health as a resource to tank for your support units. Use your Tornado to help protect your golem and support units, you can pull their support cards into the opposite lane or into the range of the baby dragons splash. You don’t want to leak any elixir at all in double elixir so playing units at 9.5 elixir will stop this happening.
