Pekka Balloon Cycle Deck!
Ash posted 3 years ago (updated 3 years ago)

Today we have one of the best players in the world on my channel sharing this 3.3 elixir peaks balloon cycle deck. This deck has plenty of defensive troops, the ice golem can be used to kite units away from your tower or he can be used to protect your musketeer. Against decks like 2.9 Xbow or 2.6 hog rider you should try to play very aggressively, it’s good to tower trade especially against xbow because it’s easier to defend your second tower. You can see from the replays today’s guest will defend and then counter push with the balloon in most circumstances. Against hog rider decks use your perks to defend then try to punish on the counter push. Against beat down you have the Pekka for their tank and you can place the musketeer and bats to take out their support troops.

Miner can be used to help acquire chip damage throughout the match and he canceled also be used to tank tower damage for units like balloon, bats or musketeer. You shouldn’t let your opponent stack up units like princess or magic archer so you might have to use the miner to snipe these unit. He is also good to play against elixir collectors.

This girl is finally getting a nerf to her range in the September update. However she will still be a extremely viable defensive unit that provides a huge counter push potential. She will be your main tank killer so don’t play her early game unless you have to because you can be easily punished.

Balloon is your main win condition, use this card to punish your opponent, try to use your snowball to protect it from units like bats and you can play the miner onto ranged troops likes musketeer or wizard.

Early Stage Gameplan

In single elixir try to defend and make positive elixir trades. Work out what deck the opponent is playing just like you should in every match. For opening plays you can play miner in the safe spot or cycle Skelton’s in the back. Try to protect the musketeer in single elixir to try to force your opponent to play a spell to take her out, if they do you can apply pressure with the balloon plus ice golem and have the snowball ready to play. If the opponent over commits then go a bit more aggressive on your next push to punish them.

Late Stage Gameplan

In double elixir you can begin to support your pushes a lot more and play units more aggressively. Applying pressure with the balloon will stop the opponent play offensively and force them to play elixir on defensive and most of the time your balloon will get death damage even if it doesn’t get a hit and this paired with the miner is a good source of chip damage. Good luck with this deck check out the video to see a ladder God using this deck!
