Today we have the CRL Pro player ThunderStruck on the channel sharing this deck that he uses to take down Royal in CRL West! With this deck you need to play patiently and slowly build up enough units to to overwhelm the opponent. If the opponent is playing a witch you should lightening her. Against more difficult cards like mega knight or Valkyrie you should apply dual lane pressure and try to break through their defence that way. Your spells should be used to help protect your buildings and the witches, snowball can also be used against minion hordes, bats and goblins. It’s knock back effect works well against balloon, hog, ram rider and goblin barrel.

Goblin Giant

Goblin giant is your heavy tank unit inside this deck. He is surprising a good unit to cycle in the back if you don’t have another good play to make. If you have spawners down then the opponent can’t punish you if you cycle him in the back.


Fisherman is still strong despite his nerf almost three weeks ago. You can use him to keep tanks away from your buildings and also pull them into the opposite lane. Early game you can use him to activate your king tower, this can be useful against giant, golem, hog rider and goblin giant. He can also be used as a mini tank to help protect your towers from small chip damage.


Witch is incredibly strong and she makes a great defensive options to use because of her strong counter push potential. Try to protect her, you can use your fisherman to pull units like mega knight or Valkyrie away from her. Keep her put if spell range from your buildings.

Early Stage Gameplan

In single elixir your main aim is to survive until double elixir. Focus on defence and building up a positive elixir trade, furnace is probably the best starting play because it’s only four elixir and is a safer play than goblin hut.

Late Stage Gameplan

In double elixir you can start to stack up your goblin huts and furnace and try to overwhelm the opponent. Take any spell value you can to help chip away at the opponents tower. You can also apply dual lane pressure against opponents who have a big spell like poison, try to avoid giving the opponent spell value. You can play your buildings in one lane then start a push with the witch in the opposite lane. Good luck with this deck!
