Today we’re watching Tommy who is a pro from tribe gaming pushing top level ladder live! This deck is almost perfect for countering the annoy elixir golem sparky deck that I shared in the previous video. The Valkyrie, bomb tower and be magic archer are great on defence against the witches, wall breakers and the elixir golem! One thing you’ll see that Tommy does with this deck is apply dual lane pressure, when he plays a miner or Valkyrie he will pressure opposite lane with the wall breakers. Use your cycle units wisely, you should try to make a positive elixir when using the bats or skeletons however they can be used to cycle back to the wall breakers in double elixir. On defence with this deck you have the bomb tower which will kite units into the centre and it’s death damage can also help take out their support troops. The Valkyrie and bats are two solid defensive options and they can be used on the counter push as well.
Miner is a great unit to use to tank damage for your bats or magic archer on a counter push. He’s also great to use to chip away at the opponents tower throughout the match.
Magic archer is potential the highest skill card in the game, his placement can be the difference between stopping a push or not. His range allows you to help defend a push from the opposite range keeping him out of spell range to your other defensive units.
Wall breakers are a great offensive unit that you can use to apply pressure opposite lane when you need to force your opponent to spend elixir defensively or when you know they’re low on elixir. Their death damage is what makes these cards OP because they can take out medium HP units like the musketeer etc. They can be used at the start of the match to see what counters our opponent has in their deck.
Early game try to work out what deck your opponent is playing, use wall breakers offensively and split lane push and try to control the tempo of the match. Don’t over commit, if you’re unsure what deck the opponent is playing try to play passively and counter push when’d you get the opportunity.
In double elixir you can begin to apply dual lane pressure a lot more freely and also pressure opposite lane if the opponent invests a lot of elixir in one lane. Valkyrie can offer insane value on defence so try to stack her up and counters push behind her at every opportunity.
