Executioners stats have increased yet AGAIN... so this next meta we’re likely to see a lot of executioner going around! This is a heavy deck, play it conservatively, play it passively and defensively. Don’t use this deck like it’s a 2.6 hog cycle or you will lose. In this deck you have the skarmy, which will be used to bait out the zap spell from the opponent. It’s also a great to help take down heavy units like giant and it can be used to surround splash units like the executioner. Tornado synergies extremely well in this deck because it can be used with the executioner, sparky, zap or even the ewiz. Against bait decks you rally need to focus on defence in single elixir and never give them rocket value. Try to play same lane.

Mega Knight

Mega knight is another unit in this deck with an enter the arena ability. He is also your heavy tank in his deck so try to counter push behind him after a successful defence.


Sparky is a great defensive unit that has a huge counter push potential. As long as your opponent doesn’t have rocket you can start out a push by playing her behind your princess towers. If they zap zap try to bait it out by using your skarmy in key defensive sequences.

Electro Wizard

Electro wizard will be an important unit in this meta because there will be a lot of sparky going around. Try to take advantage of his enter the arena ability if you get the opportunity. He can be used to reset charging units like inferno dragon, battle ram, ram rider, prince etc. He is also one of you main air defence troops so try to keep him in cycle if you opponent have heavy air units like balloon or lava hound.

Early Stage Gameplan

Early game you should focus on playing passively and making positive elixir trades. You can lightly counter push if you get the opportunity or you know you have an elixir advantage. Don’t be afraid to wait until double elixir before making your first play if you opponent is also waiting. Always try to activate your king tower, especially against miner, hog rider, bridge spam and balloon decks, even if you have to take a hit from one of those units.

Late Stage Gameplan

With this deck in double elixir you can start to build up that push which will stop your opponent in their tracks. Sometimes you might need to take some small damage or even tower trade if you’re confident you can three crown. Use the hog rider to apply pressure and force your opponent to spend elixir defensively.
