Today Iām finally sharing a wizard deck that has been used on the top of ladder! Todays guest is āWiz Masterā who has been dominating ladder using this deck. Balloon cycle decks are all about applying offensive pressure at the right time. Try to defend on your side of the arena so your towers can help out your troops. Counter push at every opportunity especially if you can play your balloon into the rage spell. Your two cycle cards will allow you to quickly cycle back to any unit you need. Use them to make positive elixir trades on defence. The ideal push is a balloon into the lumber jacks rage with a mega minion pushing the balloon when you have a freeze in hand ready to deploy. This is extremely hard to defend.
Balloon is your main win condition and using it offensively can force your opponent to spend elixir defensively rather than offensively. You can use the mega minion behind the balloon to push the balloon at a faster pace to increase the chances of it reaching the towers.
Freeze will mainly be used as a surprise card to support you balloon when the opponent is either low on elixir or they donāt have another air defence in cycle. It can be used defensively in some situations as well, use it along side the wizard on defence.
Early game you can start out with an ice spirit at the bridge. Wait 10-15 seconds before making the first plays try to mirror the opponents elixir investments and always aim to defend on your side of the arena and then counter push. Learn what deck the opponent is playing and go in with the balloon if they play a heavy tank or you know they donāt have good air defence in cycle.
Double elixir you can start to support your balloon a lot more and even rocket cycle if you need to in sudden death. Now is the time to use your freeze if you havenāt already. Good luck with this deck everyone!
