Miner Poison Spam!
Ash posted 3 years ago (updated 3 years ago)

Today we have Javil on the channel who went 12-0 with this hybrid miner poison bridge spam deck. The miner fits in so well because it provides a good combo card which can support your other units. This deck should be used passively at first and then you can apply pressure on the counter push. If you have an elixir advantage or the opponent plays a big tank behind their towers then you should apply opposite lane pressure to force them to split their elixir. Against bait you will likely have a damage deficit in single elixir but play patiently and wait to cash in on a huge counter push in double elixir. If the opponent has lava hound you should aim to control the tempo of the match and always punish them when they place their hound, you can use pekka more offensively if the opponent doesn’t have many counter.

Miner is a secondary win condition in this deck, he’s great for getting chip damage throughout the match and apply pressure when you need to force a response from your opponent. You can synergies him with other units who can tank tower damage allowing him to get more chip.

Electro Wizard

Ewiz is a great defensive unit that can also be used to reset charging units like ram rider, battle ram or prince and it also works against inferno dragon too. Try to protect him and keep him alive as long as possible, his stun mechanic is your zap replacement inside this deck.

Pekka will mainly be used defensively in most matchups especially against golem, giant or e-golem. Always apply counter push pressure behind her or in the opposite lane if they play a defensive unit to stop her.

Early Stage Gameplan

In single elixir you can start out with a miner in the safe spot or a bandit at the bridge. Use this deck as a chip deck during single elixir and play reactively to what your opponent does. Don’t over commit and you shouldn’t use the miner poison combo unless you can get good spell value. If your opponent has a quicker cycle deck then just try to survive until double elixir. Try to make positive elixir trades once defence especially with the skeletons and barb barrel.

Late Stage Gameplan

Double elixir can be the time you pull the game back against those quick cycle decks like bait or 2.6. Keep pressuring with the miner and you can now start to pair the miner poison combo if you know you can get good value from your opponents cards. Goodluck with this deck everyone!
