This is the first deck I’ll be sharing in my new video series called cycle week. This deck is by no means an easy deck to play, you will rely on cycling a LOT and using your pekka on defence and then counter pushing behind her, you will have to use your spells to help keep her alive for as long as possible. Use your cycle cards to make positive elixir trades on defence, against heavy air decks you will rely heavily on applying opposite lane pressure.
Pekka is your heavy hitting unit, she is great on defence however you should always try to counter push behind her and really try to control the tempo of the match. Use your spells to support her and increase the chances of her getting to their tower.
Ice golem will be vital for victory in most matchups because he can be easily used to help make positive elixir trades. Because he’s a mini tank you can use him to help protect your pekka from ranged units like musketeer. He can also be used to kite units away from your princess towers and into the opposite lane.
Early game you should aim to you get some good tower damage. Learn what deck the opponent is playing and punish them if you get the opportunity, you’ll easily be able to out cycle their main defensive units in single elixir.
Double elixir can be tricky especially against heavy beat down decks, I recommend try to apply as much opposite lane pressure as possible while cycling back to key defensive units. If you’ve learnt what deck your opponent is playing try to make prediction plays. Sometimes you will end up going to tie breaker rules so spells cycle as much as possible throughout double and triple elixir.
