Double prince is back! This is a fairly straight forward deck to play, and relatively low skill making it great for players like me! The number one rule with this deck is to play passively and respond to what your opponent does, then you can apply pressure on the counter push. The only exception to this is if the opponent is playing lava hound when you should apply opposite lane pressure. You can use your spells to help protect your troops and keep them alive for as long as possible, always try to get tower damage with the spells if you can. Against pekka decks you will often have to bait out their pekka in one lane with the giant then pressure the other lane with your prince. You have to apply a lot of split lane pressure when using this deck, I recommend defending one lane then split lane with surviving troops in one lane and playing a prince or giant in the other lane.

Giant is your main tank inside the deck and in single elixir you shouldn’t really play him unless your opponent plays a heavy tank first. He can also be used to kite units into the opposite lane if you place him at the river, just one tile to the other half of the arena. I prefer to play him closer to the bridge, particularly after a successful defence. Protect him from swarm cards with your spells and have zap ready invade the opponent have inferno dragon.

Prince is a great tank killer if you can get him to charge in time. Use him along side the dark prince, this will mean you have two charging units, one that does splash and the other is a heavy hitting unit. I prefer to have the dark prince in front because his shield mechanic can tank a pekka hit. You can use these guys to pressure the opponent at the bridge.

Early Stage Gameplan

Early game play passively and try to make positive elixir trades by defending on your side of the arena. Use your small spells up to support your units if necessary. For starting Plays I prefer to wait for the opponent to make the first play, however if you’re more of an aggressive player you can start out by cycling zap, minions or dark prince.

Late Stage Gameplan

Double elixir is when you should start applying that dual lane pressure and force your opponent to split their elixir defending. Use your spells to support your units and start playing your giant at the bridge. Goodluck with this deck everyone! Check out the video to see some live ladder game play.
