Today we have Feddy on the channel sharing this op Graveyard freeze deck that is starting to dominate high level ladder. This deck contains two of the strongest defensive units in the game, the hunter and the mini pekka. Mini pekka is great against hog rider, mega knight etc and it can also act as a mini tank for your graveyard on the counter push. Hunter is great against balloon, golem, giant, Royal hogs and also swarm units like minions or goblins. The fire spirits can be used to support your mini pekka to protect her from bats, minions, skarmy, goblins etc but they can also be used on defence against goblin barrel, skelly barrel, royal hogs, minion horde. Feddy will use defensive freeze spells to help protect his hunter or musketeer on defence, he will particularly rely on defensive freeze against the annoying elixir golem deck that is going around right now. Use earthquake against spawners when you get the opportunity.
Graveyard is your main win condition inside this deck, ensure you play patiently with this card and wait for a good opportunity to punish your opponent with this card. You should use freeze to support graveyard when the opponent invests all their elixir defending, then you can freeze their units and take their tower. Check out the video for the most optimal graveyard placement!
I this guy because he’s such a versatile card that can land you some huge positive elixir trades if used correctly. His frost nova ability can be used to kill bats, skeletons (even from the skelly barrel) and spear goblins. You can also use him to kite units like ghost, pekka, dragons into the opposite lane and away from your princess towers. He’s a great tank for the graveyard as well.
Hunter is a very important card in this deck, you shouldn’t play him until you know what deck your opponent is playing in case you need him for defence. This guy paired with the mini pekka and freeze can stop any push in the game!
Opponents will often find it hard to identify graveyard as your win condition, so use this to your advantage and bait out their poison with the musketeer then punish them with the mini pekka graveyard in the opposite lane. Don’t use the hunter until you know if you require him for defence. You can start out the match with a musketeer in the back, fire spirits at the bridge or cycling ice golem.
Once you hit double elixir start ramping up the pressure while aiming to make positive elixir trades on defence. You can begin to use your spells to help support your pushes and even make prediction plays if you know what cards your opponent has in cycle. You can use earthquake cycle towards the end of double elixir and into triple elixir.
