In my recent video I take a look at the CRL Asia pro player called KK and some of the decks he used to sweep an entire team. This is my favourite because it has the goblin cage and the Royal Delivery which are two of the strongest cards in the game right now. Splash yard mainly consists of playing reactivity and making positive elixir trades on defence, you can then counter push and punish your opponent once they’ve made a big elixir investment or played one of their key counters. You can see just how patient KK will use this deck and he will even use the ice wizard as a tank for the graveyard.
Ice wizard will mainly be used defensively and can be paired with the tornado or played behind the goblin cage to help defend those bigger pushes. He is also one of your key units to help defend against air units like balloon.
Graveyard is your main win condition and should be used once you have manufactured a good elixir advantage or if your opponent doesn’t have a good counter in cycle. For the most optimal placement I recommend watching the video to see where KK will place this card to maximise his tower damage. Poison can be used to help support this card but it should only be used if you can get good spell value from it, for example poisoning a minion horde, e-wiz, skarmy etc. Try to have a unit tanking tower damage, this will allow more skeletons to spawn resulting in more tower damage.
Goblin cage is now one of the strongest cards in the game, the cage provides you with a defensive option to kite units into the centre of the arena. The brawler can also be used as a tank for your graveyard.
Early game play patiently and learn what deck the opponent is playing, don’t over commit and only play graveyard if you’re sure the opponent can’t defend it. Try to activate your king tower by using the tornado this is particularly important against hog rider, bridge spam, miner and bait archetypes.
Once you’re in double elixir you should be confident with what your opponent is playing. Try to bait out their key counters and build up a big enough counter push to overwhelm them. Sometimes you might not get an opportunity to play Graveyard until overtime, just focus on defending efficiently. Goodluck with this deck everyone!
