The OG X-Bow Deck!
Ash posted 3 years ago

Today we have Crafter on the channel sharing the original x-bow cycle deck that he's been using under levelled inside the top 10k ladder! 2.9 is a stable archetype that will definitely improve your over all game play if you can master this deck. I highly recommend watching the decision making that Crafter makes when using this deck. Crafter will play patiently when using this deck, he will never over commit or over support the x-bow, as you can see against the golem in the first match he will wait for the opponent to make a mistake before he goes aggressive. Try to get as much elixir value from your cycle cards by using them to support and protect your other units or princess towers.

Ice Golem

Ice golem can offer a lot of value for only two elixir, he's basically a glass tank that can be used to kite and distract units buying your towers or troops more time to shut down their push. He's a great unit to kite troops like pekka, dragons, prince, mega knight into the opposite lane and away from your towers.

X-Bow

X-bow is your main win condition and can be played both offensively and defensively depending upon your match up. You're main aim with this deck to successfully get a tower lock without over commit but at the same time support your x-bow enough to get maximum tower damage. If you're struggling to break through you can use a defensive x-bow then aim to quickly cycle back to a second offensive x-bow.

Skeletons

These three little larrys can great for helping you make positive elixir trades and also distracting heavy hitting units like pekka, prince or even a sparky blast. Splitting them in the middle can distract a mortar for three shots which could save over 600 tower damage!

Early Stage Gameplan
X1

Early game assess what deck the opponent is playing. If you play a heavy tank in the back go offensive with the x-bow and try to get an early tower lock, just don't over support you push and leave yourself with no elixir left to defend.

Late Stage Gameplan
X2

Once in double elixir you can either spell cycle if their towers are at or around 800HP. The good thing about this deck is how defensive it is which means if you've already taken a tower you can simply defend throughout the rest of the match.
