FISHERMAN BUFF ROCKS THE META
Ash posted 3 years ago

The recent buff the fisherman has well and truly brought him back into the meta! Juicy J is talking us through how to play this deck in today's video so be sure to check that out. This deck has a variety of pushes you can build, you have the miner which can be used with hunter, balloon or bats or the giant skeleton which can be used to tank damage for the majority of the cards inside this deck. Zap can also be used to re-target the princess tower onto your miner or to protect you balloon, miner or giant skeleton from swarm cards. The skeletons and bats are two key cycle cards which can be used to help you get to the cards you need. Try to get value from them when you do cycle them, for example they can be placed to protect a hunter or support a balloon push.

Giant Skeleton

You can invest more elixir in supporting the giant skeleton than a regular tank because his death damage can shut down the opponents counter push units. This guy is your heavy tank and the last thing you opponent wants is him connecting to their tower, he is also strong against siege and beat down decks because he can shut down the support cards.

Hunter

Hunter has one of the highest DPS in the entire game and he has great synergy with the fisher man who can easily pull units closer to the hunter. He is also a strong defensive unit to help you defend against tanks ,hog rider, balloon, miner etc. Try to protect him when possible, this can potentially bait out a spell from your opponent.

Balloon

Balloon is your main win condition and should only be played when you know your opponent is low on elixir, they don't have a good counter in cycle or you need to pressure opposite lane. You have plenty of units inside this deck to support the balloon, zap can offer a lot of value to.

Early Stage Gameplan
X1

Starting plays: Juicy like to drop giant skeleton in the back, which can be supported bu the hinter and fisherman combo depending on what deck your opponent is playing. Play passively until you know what deck the opponent is playing then play the correct support cards behind your giant skeleton.

Late Stage Gameplan
X2

Your main push will rely on the giant skeleton blowing up the opponents defensive units so try to build up a push behind him before going in with your balloon. You can also apply dual lane pressure with the miner and balloon opposite lane. Good luck with this deck everyone!
