Today we welcome NateTheGreat on the channel who is playing this hybrid deck that has one of the strongest defence's in the entire game. This deck has a big spell bait element to it. The archers, dart goblin and fireball are your only air defence units in this deck so be cautious when using them, particularly at the start of the match. Keep using the barbarian hut to reset when you don't have another good move to make, it's also a good unit to use to help defend and kite units into the centre of the arena. You should use your battle ram to apply pressure or to counter push when you know your opponent is low on elixir.
Recruits are a good starting play and can also be used to clog up both lanes and distract the opponents units while your towers, dart goblin or archer help shut down their push. They're a great counter to the pekka and other heavy hitting units like prince. Use them to apply dual lane pressure and force your opponent to spend elixir on defence and offence at the same time.
This guy is a like a mini machine gun and is a great counter to the graveyard if you can play him early enough. Try to protect him as much as possible and try to avoid giving your opponent spell value. On offence this card should mainly be used as a support card, he can be played at the bridge but this will only result in a few hundred damage so this should only be done if you need to get some small chip damage.
Fireball is your main spell and is a great counter to the royal hogs, three musketeers, minion hordes and so on. Try to use this card to make positive elixir trades on defence as well as supporting your units on offence. Remember this card has a knock back ability which is capable of pushing back a balloon, ram rider, battle ram and inferno dragon, this can be vital in protecting your princess towers.
Early game Nate will often start out this the recruits split in the back if he has them in cycle, however my favourite starting playing is the barbarian hut or playing this goblin gang. Don't over commit, your main aim in single elixir should be to defend and counter push, use the battle ram if you know your opponent is low on elixir.
Once you're in double elixir keep stacking up those barb huts and trying to make positive elixir trades on defence. You can easily build up a huge counter push with this deck, remember to use your spells to support your units. You might need to apply dual lane pressure against decks with strong splash units like the bowler or executioner.
