Today we have the ladder God Mugi on the channel who currently has an 84.6% WIN RATE in CRL Asia. He is one of the best players in the world and today I'm sharing this miner-loon cycle deck that he used to win one of his match-ups. This deck is so strong because of its fast cycle which allows you to keep up with decks like 2.6 or 2.9 x-bow and always gives you the advantage over heavier decks like golem beat down. When using a fast miner-loon deck you deck to play defence through offence to prevent the opponent been able to full support their pushes. Your main units you will use for offence are the miner and the balloon, the rest of the cards can be used defensively and then used on a counter push. Try to protect the musketeer and get as much value from her as possible, you can use the ice golem or skeletons to help support her. The snowball and barb barrel should be used to either make positive elixir trades on defence or to support your other units on offence. Against bait or graveyard decks you will rely on the two spells more for defensive purposes.
Miner is a secondary win condition inside this deck and will mainly be used to support the balloon or tank damage for other units inside this deck. You can also use him to snipe ranged units like princess, dart goblin or magic archer, if your opponent has any of these units you need to prevent them stacking up multiple troops otherwise it'll overwhelm your defence.
Balloon is your main win condition and is a great unit to use to pressure the opponent and force your opponent to play defensively. If they have units like hunter, musketeer, executioner etc try to out cycle them or distract them with an ice golem, barb barrel or miner.
Bomb tower will mainly be used to kite bridge spam units, tanks, balloon or distract a royal giant. The death damage of this card can be useful at helping defend, if you're against royal giant or royal hogs I prefer to play this card in front of the princess tower. It's also great against x-bow if you can play it with your barb barrel or ice golem to tank some damage.
Early game try to control the tempo of the match, you can start out with a miner, balloon or even cycle your skeleton or ice golem in the back. Save you musketeer and bomb tower as these are both key defensive units. Learn what deck the opponent is playing and what units they have to counter your balloon. Don't just spam everything at the bridge, play patiently, apply light pressure and counter push when you can. You might need to keep switching lanes against certain archetypes.
In double elixir you need to play your key defensive units as much as possible and then cycle back to them while protecting them and keeping them alive as much as possible. Keep up the offensive pressure with the miner and balloon combo, remember to switch up the mine replacement throughout the match to make it harder for the opponent to predict where you've placed him. Good luck with this deck everyone, check out the video to see some more top decks used by the pro player Mugi.
