In this video we have Royale on the channel teaching us how to play this new golem deck. This deck has been used to win grand challenges and I really like it because you can use it more aggressively than a regular golem deck. The goblin hut helps makes this deck stronger on defence and the lightening can be used to help support your golem against inferno tower, inferno dragon etc. Barb barrel is good counter to the skeleton barrel, you can get a lot of value from timing your barb barrel correctly. Try to stack up support cards behind your golem and use your cycle cards to get back to a goblin hut or another spell if needed.
Golem is your heavy tank and should only be played once you’re confident you have an elixir advantage.
Heal spirit is not only a cycle card but it is also a counter to spells like poison or fireball which can deal a ton of damage to you support cards. It can help your units win a 1v1 battle at the bridge as well.
Night witch is the #1 support card for golem, her ability to spawn bats is what makes her so strong. Use the heal spirit to help heal her from spells and units like baby dragon. When you begin to build up a push playing her first will allow her to spawn more bats which can distract inferno tower or inferno dragon.
You can start out by cycling the cheap cards or placing a goblin hut in the centre of the arena. Try to keep your goblin hut alive for as long as possible in single elixir, this is because it can be used on defence to kite units into the centre of the arena and it’s spawning goblins also apply some light offensive pressure.
Once you’re in double elixir you can start using the golem a lot more aggressively and supporting him with your spells as well as your support troops. Try to build up a good counter push to overwhelm your opponent, heal spirit should be used as much as possible to keep your cards alive for as long as possible.
