Lots of cards are very deserving of nerfs this month: lets see what got changed!

• Witch
  • Removed Area Damage
  • Hit Speed reduced: 1.4sec -> 1.7sec
  • Slower first Skeleton spawn: 1sec -> 3.5sec
  • Mass increased: 100% (no longer pushed by Skeletons)
• Elixir Golem
  • Hitpoints: -10%
  • Affects all forms (Elixir Golem, Elixir Golemite, Elixir Blob)
• Wall Breakers
  • Damage: -19%
  • Area Damage Radius reduced: 2.0 > 1.5
  • Deploy slightly further apart (fixes true red/true blue issue)
• Fisherman
  • Hook Range reduced: 7 > 6
  • Hook Charge Time increased: 1sec > 1.1sec
• Executioner
  • Max Range: 4.5 > 5
  • Axe Radius: -20%
  • Axe Hover Time increased: 1.0s -> 1.2
• Barbarian Barrel
  • Damage: +8%
• Baby Dragon
  • Hitpoints: -4.5%

Overall very solid changes, although the nerfs to the witch may be a bit excessive. However, we will see very soon how these changes will pan out!

This week, all CRL leagues have officially finished, and the 6 teams heading to the Clash Royale World Finals in LA California have been locked in. They are:

• Fav Gaming

Since Balances changes will come into effect in a few days, let’s make a prediction on how this new meta will pan out.

• Elixir Golem:
  • Elixir golem will still be meta. Despite the nerf to the elixir golem’s HP, his blobs will still do a crazy amount of damage.
• Witches
  • Witch will be seen a lot less for sure. Her decreased hitspeed makes her very weak to swarms, and a slower skeleton spawn means that the can’t really be played reactively
  • Night witch, on the other hand, will be quite popular. The 4 death spawns, as shown this month, will be very deadly.

Overall, the metas going to be nowhere near as crazy as this past month’s. However, decks such as traditional pekka control and xbow are getting less and less effective, as players have to either change their strategy, or change their deck to succeed.
