Today we have FenoFinalForm on the channel who at the time of this recording was number one in the world with this crazy off meta deck! This deck have two win conditions, the royal giant and the hog rider. He plays this deck like a beat down archetype meaning he’s happy to take some tower damage in order to cash in on some big monster pushes behind the hog and the royal giant. The two most important cards in this deck are the zap and the sparky, don’t use unless you have to. Don’t cycle the sparky behind your tower because you’ll mainly be using her as your main defensive unit. Use your spells to help protect your Royal giant, sparky and hog on offensive pushes. They can also be used defensively against bait decks during single elixir.
Hog is one of your win conditions inside this deck, use him on counter pushes to punish your opponent. He’s best used alongside the royal giant in double elixir to create an almost new unstoppable synergy. You can also use him to kite units away from your towers as well!
The barbarians synergies very well in this deck with the minion horde. They both act as fireball bait which makes them a solid choice for defence. The barbarians, horde and sparky can stop almost any push in the game! They can also be split in the back if your expecting your opponent to pressure you opposite lane when you play the RG at the bridge.
Royal giant is a win condition and also a tank inside this deck. Use hi cycle to tank damage for your hog rider and he’s also a great counter to siege decks too. Playing him in the pocket once you’ve taken the tower is a good move to make, just have your spells ready to support him.
Never make the starting play with this deck, it’s stronger in double elixir so delaying as much as possible is a safer way to play. You can pressure with your hog in single elixir, get a feel for what deck the opponent is playing. Try to make positive elixir trades on defence and it’s also ok to take some small tower damage if it means you can pressure the opponent opposite lane!
In double elixir you’ll have the advantage with this deck in most matchups because it’s a heavier deck. If you’ve taken a tower you can drop RG in the pocket and then hog at the bridge, this will result in a ton of tower damage because it’s extremely hard to defend! If your opponent doesn’t have a big spell you can play your barbarians and minions close together on defence.
